I have participated as a guest speaker in different kinds of events ranging from public conferences to private employee get-togethers. I have spoken especially on issues related to hybrid media environment and democracy such as gatekeeping, disinformation and post-truth based on my work as author, scholar, and journalist.

I have also been lecturing in higher education after finishing my PhD in 2016. Besides working full-time in Tampere University I have visited University of Helsinki, University of Turku, University of Jyväskylä and Hanken School of Economics as a guest lecturer.

Moderator and panelist

I am an experienced panel and event moderator known for thorough work before and during the event. I have co-operated with e.g. ministries, research organisations and societies, and various NGOs.

In June 2019 I moderated two sessions in the 7th annual Kultaranta talks, a two-day round of foreign policy debates arranged at Finnish President Sauli Niinistö's summer residence in Naantali.

Over the years I have also regularly participated in media related panel discussion as a panelist.
