I left my comfortable job at Yle (Finnish broadcasting company) to create something new and exciting. I am privileged to be one of the Co-Founders at Uusi Juttu.
CREATING NEW THINGS
In recent years I have found great satisfaction in developing new products and creating new media concepts especially in audio.
I am very excited about the newest venture, Uusi Juttu. We are working with my colleagues and the support from the Danish Zetland to create a new journalistic media in Finland.

TV, RADIO & PODCASTS
I worked for Yle for almost 15 years hosting and producing many different current affairs programmes.
You can find more detailed info on my podcast ventures on this audio page. Also, I was the head of development in the project to create a brand new news podcast, Uutispodcast, for Yle in 2021–2022.
Hosting TV1’s Viimeinen Sana from 2021 to 2023. The program examined the week's top media stories.
Hosting TV1’s current affairs programs A-studio and A-talk in 2019 as well as the politicians’ election interviews during the parliamentary elections 2019.
Hosting Yle Radio 1’s current affairs program Ykkösaamu 2012–2019.
I have also filled in as a host in TV special reports, Pressiklubi and Ykkösaamu.
PARTICIPATING IN DISCUSSION
Besides my journalistic work I believe in advocating for good professional practices and participating in media-related public discussion. E.g. in 2023–2024 I was part of the working group updating the Journalistic guidelines in Finland.
